Hello everyone,
My name is Jozef Van Ingelgem in Belgium
I’m a long-time flightsimmer and a big fan of AI traffic.
Back in the FS2004 and FSX days I used Traffic Tools (TTools) to edit AI flightplans.
I would really love to have a similar small program for MSFS2020, but unfortunately I have no programming knowledge.
I am therefore looking for someone who would be willing to help me (ideally as a small community hobby project) to create a simple compiler/decompiler for the AI traffic files used by MSFS2020.
What the tool should do (very basic):
I already have some guidance about the structure of the files, but I need someone who can actually develop this, preferably in C#, or any language that works well for Windows/MSFS2020.
This is only for my personal use in my own flightsim setup.
If anyone in the community would like to create or help create such a tool as a small hobby project, I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you very much in advance!

What the tool should do (very basic):
- Decompile: convert MSFS2020 traffic files into three text files (aircraft.txt, airports.txt, flightplans.txt)
- Compile: convert those text files back into valid MSFS2020 traffic files
- A simple command-line tool or small window is perfectly fine — no complex interface needed
