• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Good Morning,

I am desiring to place the Intuit Dome into the game. A mod has already been made for this stadium, however the creator added Sofi Stadium as well and its no longer needed alongside the rest of the google capture. Is there a way to crop just the part that I desire out of the mod? The red square is all that id like to add into the game. The original location of this mod is located here: https://pt.flightsim.to/file/86434/sofi-stadium-intuit-dom

There would be a couple of ways to do this. Make a package with library object excludes, which will get rid of most of the objects. Or use ModelConverterX to export the relevant models to glTF and textures; and load that to Blender to trim the excess.
That written... The scenery should never have been distributed. It is in violation of copyright laws. You can rip scenery from Google for your personal use without fear, but distributing it is dangerous for both the author of the package, and flightsim.to
By using it, you actually become an accomplice, and could be subject to a lawsuit or even criminal prosecution. I'm not judging, and the chances of you getting in a jam are very slim. But now you are aware of the danger. With this in mind, this is as far as I'll let this go, and I'm closing the thread, as FSDeveloper doesn't want to get involved in this.
