FSXA Dash 8 100/300

Thanks for the tips! :) No it's not, but i Have the max9 demo/trail i will se if i find it there. I know the basics in max, i made a complete 737-500 fuselage in max 9 demo some years ago. but there is still lot to learn.

Hi Chris!
Project is still alive, but going slowly at the moment. I have so much stuff to do in my private life nowadays, (painting my house, building garage etc) o_O
Glad to hear you're still working on the project! :) Thanks for the update.

No problem!
Working on the main landinggear at the moment, making details like breakelines etc

I've been bored lately, Then i found the Dreamwings Dash 8 Q400 source file on my external HD and then started playing a little with it. (I received it from them a long time ago, I was going to make a fsx version of that dash.)
What i have done so far, given the dash a nose job and adjusted the fuselage cross section.

Another update on the dw Q400, but i will stop editing/improving stuff on the model for now, just animate and complete this thing :D ehmmm i have to continue om my own dash ;)
And i have got permission to realease this bird :)

What i've done with it : New fuselage cross section, more realistic nose and cockpit windows, adjusted the wing shape a bit. animated the nosegear. Whats left? some texture tweaking and animations.

Hi Marc, sorry late reply!
Project is now restarted after some downtime, Did some work on the DW Q400 aswell.
if there is someone out there with good photoshop knowledge and having very little to do at the moment, then i have the perfect job for you :D !
Edit a bit of dw's original fuselage texture to fit the new fuselage, same with wing texture. If anybody is interested then this bird may be finished soon.
Unfortunately, I have too much to do so i do not get the time to edit myself.

I do also work on the Baby dash, right now i work on different "details" around the model etc, and will start on the cabin for the exterior model.

I donated a pair of wings from my own dash 8 100 and midified them to Q400 wings, because it was so much work to edit dw original wings, and i wasn't happy with the result. And the engines are donated from a old Q400 project i have abonded.

Woaw :O this is amaing :) can't wait to see more :)
Unfortunately, I have no talent about AirCraft developpement :/

Yes there will be a new paintkit for the wings and fuselage, the old one will not work 100% with the updated model, unless you tweak it like i have done with this SAS livery.
