• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Hi

I have been without pc for a while. Brand new pc and new installation of MFS.
I can use the simulator in normal way, but when I open one project in developer mode, it loads, but after some seconds it crash with follow CTD:

Faulting process ID: 0x57a0
Faulting application start time: 0x01d83ef89e8ec34c
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.22.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.22.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe
Report ID: 4e18d411-b0d8-47e5-8541-36818cd2152c
Faulting package full name: Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.22.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe
Faulting package-relative application ID: App

I don't know if project structure have changed in any way to do this error.

Does anyone face the same issue?

Best regards
Mário

I'm getting a CTD when I click on Build Package, but not every time. I had worked on three sceneries in the past week, and did similar work to them both. They're rural bush strips that I swapped out the Asobo windsocks for a more suitable windsock from TSR Windy Things. Then, on all sceneries I did some work with polygons to fix some water and vegetation issues near the airports. Saved my work, clicked on Build Package, and CTD every time.

Where can I find that log file?

Why you work with a old version ?
Currently, MSFS is 1.24.5 and update are mandatory ....o_O

I was having a big problem with this until I realized I needed to update my SDK; it does NOT update automatically with sim updates. Many fewer CTDs now.
