• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS Does anyone know how to remove runway/taxiway signs from an existing scenario? Please check the image.

Hi, I've been asked to update a scenario that was done by another developer. He did a great job but he's not available at the moment and we don't have access to his project. In the meantime real airport got another runway and taxiways and vatsim users can not use it.

Basically I managed to remove his runway and taxiways and create new updated ones, was able to remove some objects using the exclusion polygons and other methods but not able to remove this signs (image).
Is there any other way to remove them? Maybe in some xml file text editing? Thank you so much in advance. Just an additional info, this author was notified of course and will be fully credited for his amazing work. We will also point people to download his scenery first as our scenery just adds new runway/taxiways to it. It's a large complicated airport so don't have time to do it from scratch.

Like the runway and taxiways, you can remove the taxiways signs using the deletecommands of the Airport object, specifically the DeleteAllTaxiwaySigns
 
I have a similar question but with a rare black sign with a number 8 in red. That kind of sign appears in all airports they are not supposed to be there. There are several black sign with number on the runway side; number 8 -7 -6 until I see "M".
Is there a way to remove them from MSFS2020? I looked at the Assistance settings with no luck.
