• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I'm so getting close to finishing this which is a conversion of the aircraft I made originally for FSX. I've rebuilt a huge amount of the aircraft to put some more polygons into the model as computers have come a long way in the 10 years since the first version of this aircraft. I've spent this week doing and then redoing the LOD models and added a repaint.

Very nice work. Likewise I have been learning (slowly) how to use Blender to update some of my old FSX models.

Wow. Absolutely stunning. Everywhere you look you can see details. It looks like a photograph, really.

The views must be amazing. I would be happy just to ride around in the back seat.

Hi,

My favorite part of your work is your dedication to this community and your excellent advices, tips and explanations on this new SDK.
That said I also admire your work and this drifter is no an exception for this rule. Thank you.

Hello everyone

Today I have something for you to download and fly.

It is the free demo/beta version of the Drifter. As this is the first aircraft I am releasing for MSFS I would like to run a wide open beta program to see if there is anything that gets tripped up by people's varying computer setups. This is also the free demo version of the Drifter.

As usual with most of my aircraft there is a full payware version and a free demo version. The full payware version (which I hope to release before the end of this month) will include the following: GPS and Radio units, floats model, passenger model, preferences options, auxiliary fuel tank, more repaints. Otherwise the free demo available for download here works perfectly fine by itself with no limitations.

So, please download the aircraft, go for a flight and if you have any problems please either email me or post them here.

Don't forget you have to prime the engine.

Here is a picture of the free demo (the earlier pictures are for the full version). Notice the single fuel tank and no wheel covers.

Thank you Ant for the nice gift. I'll give it a spin and report anything that looks amiss. You should add an https:// to the download link, or Chrome does not like to download it.

Thanks everyone for your comments and testing.

I have now completed the Drifter. You may download the version 1.00 of the free demo here: www.antsairplanes.com/downloads/AntsDrifterDemoMSFS.zip

Alternatively there is the product page which has a download link for the demo and paintkit (I've even updated my website after over 10 years using the old format, the new screenshot gallery is nice).

The payware version should be available very soon (like the next day or two, it's currently the middle of Sunday night in Europe).

Next, onto the Tiger Moth.
