Dxtbmp didn't accept 4096*4096 textures

Hy,
dxtbmp resamples my 4096*4096 texture* (0,25m/pix for ground polygon) to a smaller 2048*2048 when i convert it to dxt1.

instead, imagetool save correctly it to dxt1 mantaining the size, but Fs didn't show it at all.

Any help?

Hi Luca,

I think they are just too big for FS, even though ImageTool can convert them. From my experiments 2048x2048 is already too big. The biggest texture you can use without trouble is probably 1024x1024.

thanks Arno.

Now i'm very disapponted, because i have to divide the bigjpeg in several smaller images large only 500meters*500m,instead of 1000m, to avoid exceding 2048*2048pixel.
Much more work to do...
