So after 7 years of working on it, and numerous pauses and hard disk failures, it is starting to come together well....
Back story of this....Downloaded a EC155 on Hovercontrol long ago, and thought it could be better. At the time I was comfortable with FSDS, and figured, why not!? So I started....

I guess it is me, but I kept finding stuff that needed fixing. I eventually got burned out on it, and set it to the side, and started on the 407 project...That went well until I had to get a new graphics card, which didn't play well with FSDS...missing parts etc. So I started working in Gmax. Loving every minute of it. Tried to do different models, but kept getting burned out...My wife ended up getting me 3dsMax, which I find so much more enjoyable to model as compared to GMax.
Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago, I got the horrible news that my grandfather had died. He was always impressed by what I was doing in the 3d world. So I decided to open the source file that I recovered from a hard disk crash. What I had was a basic EC155 model with the fuselage, exhaust outlets, and tailfin modeled. So I decided to start with the landing gears....

Hello
I am sorry for the bad news and my condolences for you and your dear family. On the other hand, I love what you've done with this dream of helicopter, awesome job my friend!

Keep up the good work!
Kindest regards, Sergio.

So it was pointed out to me that the housing above the cockpit/cabin area needed adjusting as it was too narrow....so this is the end result, which has gotten a seal approval from the gentleman giving me the reference material...

Hi Nate,

very, very nice to see you working on EC155. The inlets in fact are really special, great work.

I'm telling me what scenery you were using on this Picture Show... but the helicopter is nice as well... probably get that after its release...

Fenestron housing has been completely redone, added hinges for the luggage compartment, stinger has been added, and other misc. stuff like the screens...

I know it looks like a step back, but several changes that needed to be made...Chin windows have been redone and enlarged and the rear portion of the slide rail has been straightened....tried to verify this with one of the pics that had been sent to me....I think it looks better now...
