• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Worked a little more on the main rotor and decided to switch things up a little and work on the interior...

Little update. This has got to be the biggest model I have made to date! Well over 160K polys!!!....Seat brackets have been made (even has the rivets in) ,the rear struts have been made and have re-adjusted the animation on the main rotor blur....

Incredible - This must be getting pretty close to release ?? - LookinreallyGood !! Johnman

Thanks guys! John...still has quite a bit to go before the B version is release. Once that is done, the B1 version will be a cake walk....

Was told by someone that the blades I had were for a Dauphin and not for the EC. They have now been corrected, and added the center strut for the nose gear.

Thanks John! Had a awesome Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, stuffing, greenbeans wrapped in bacon, whipped sweet potatoes, buttermilk biscuits,rice.....Was so full afterwards, I could hardly move....Then the wifey brought out desert...Turtle Pie....

Tweaking the FDEs some more....I think I nailed the main rotor rpm....and trying to get the @Alt perfomance down...really hard since I can't really change the outside temp in FS...

Nate

When you fixed the main rotor overall position, did you rotate the entire fuselage and adjusted the contact points? Or just changed rotor's orientation?
Nice piece of art you have there! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Cheers,
Sergio.

Sergio- The entire head was rotated. The fuselage was left alone....It has a nose up attitude now that most of the weights are plugged in and MR position is done...I was using the wrong data sheet before....MR RPM was 390 for the AS350....About 375 for the EC155
