• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Edit NDB

Ok i'll try that later on!

What i done yesterday is, just open it through stock airport and compile it then copy and paste to MTX

Hi Vernon,
The best way to revise a MTX airport in my eyes is to (step by step)
- open Airport from BGL (in this case 'BR2_EGNX.BGL')
- go to 'Lists'
- open 'Parking'
- make a screenshot of that list and save it to your screenshot folder
- open EGNX by using 'Open Stock Airport'
- save it
- start working on it > save your work > compile it to the folder 'Addon Scenery'
- after compiling your version to the folder 'Addon Scenery' I would go to the folder 'Scenery' in MTX and deactivate 'BR2_EGNX.BGL'. Simply change the ending section to BGx, that does the job.

When you compare the stock EGNX with the MTX version you will find out that they kept the number of parkings. They just added some vehicle paths.

If you will compare other airports (stock/MTX) you will probably find out that MTX added a lot of parkings or changed the parking type/size.
You might want to install the same number and type of parkings as you found them in the list which I mentioned above. When I want to do so, I just add the screenshot
> right click into ADE, select 'Add ...', select 'Image'
ADE_Add_Image.jpg

Click the button (yellow arrow) and search for your screenshot of the parking list. Find a nice suitable location, Resize it and save it to your work.

Should look like this when you' re finished:

Good luck and have fun!

Ok thanks!

So basically compile it to fsx addon scenery then?

Why add images to your stock airport? What will this do thanks

Ok i see, how does adding an image add the parking paths?

It doesn't

Hotelfox is showing a image of the MTX parking spots that you need when you open a stock airport. Its just a picture for reference on which parking spots to change and/or add.

To be honest guys i'm going to try ultimate traffic 2 tomorrow and drop MTX. But i'll still go ahead and change an airport to see how it works and if i can manage it :)

I' m pretty sure that you will run into exactly the same issues ...

@ jvile: Thanks Jim!

Hi i recently uninstalled MTX for the new version and it still changed EGGP NDB so i placed that file into mTX scenery that someone sent on this thread but it isn't having an effect. EGGP NDB keeps showing 349.0
