Yes, simply add albedo and emissive textures to a simple MSFS Standard material and setup the panel.cfg to use backlight = 1. Switching the panel light on/off turns the emissive on/off.What did you do to get the gauge to display "non-emissive?". This is the problem we are having. They only show in the emissive channel. I have also tried using the hourmeter form the default cessna, and it goes straight away into the emissive channel... also my gauges background is always black no matter what....
I imagine that "virtualcockpit" is the material name and then you added texture channels for albedo and emissive? In my experience, adding anything to these channels does nothing...
The hourmeter from the C152 works fine on a very basic material where only the material name is defined (no textures used at all) but this gauge is not emissive.
The C152 radios only show up if there is an emissive, I assume this is something in the coding of the gauges themselves as their display is red led lights and haven't looked at it too closely yet.
I do not use any XML gauges.
