Hi,
I've got a question regarding using the ExternalSim API, or ISimObject APIs with a 3d model in Prepar3d.
I can't seem to get the 3d model to animate things like landing gears, ailerons, etc. Has anyone had any success in animating parts on a model that is controlled externally using either ExternalSim or creating a new ISimObject?
When using ExternalSim, I've tried using SimVars and Events to stimulate things like the gears, but nothing seems to happen.
I've also had a look at the SimpleAirplane example with the ISimObject sdk, and although that one animates the gears and ailerons, I'm not quite sure how. I've tried using that same dll with a different airplane model, and nothing animates. I don't know what is going on between the dll and the model, but I feel like I'm missing something. Are the properties that are defined in the SimpleAirplane dll also defined in the model that they have included for that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
