• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi all
I'm new to this and I just recently edited some airports by placing starting points on the parking areas' with FSX planner to be able to spawn on the ramp during MP mission which was next to impossible. All start points were removed from the runways and added to parking spaces located on the ramps. Works like a charm. The airports I edited were found or added to the Addon scenery folder.
Now I want to edit other fields particularly military airbases through out our operation. The only problem is where to actually locate where they actually are.
At the present moment i want to change KNTU, KNGU as well as ROK and US airbases in Korea and airforce bases in Itally and Balkans area.

Edit: Another question please. What is the rule for the size of parking spots for Mil-combat aircraft. particularly for the F/A-18E/F. The reason why i asked is because I change the names of the parking spot in KDOV for small general to Mil-combat and although I can park there it still indicate small general aviation.

EDIT: Never mind I found it and edited it already the only thing I'm having issues with now is this
"ERROR: Unable to find BglComp.exe
The specified folder is:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\BGL Compiler SDK
Please make sure this is correct.

your help would be much appreciated thank you.

By looking at the above the compiler folder looks to be the standard one but the compiler is not in there.

Check that folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\BGL Compiler SDK

and look for BglComp.exe and BglComp.xsd

The compiler exe and xsd are both there as I remember, I'll recnfirm though. Thanks.
