Hello People!
You haven't heard from me in ages, but I am back in business, with an incredibly strange one, and for the obsolete FS-2004! I still support it, although probably for the last time! FS-202 up next!
While sending a new aircraft of mine for testing, one of the testers found that his gear was bouncing around from a standstill, until the aircraft self-destructs. Also, his pitch stability was lost past a certain airspeed.
We found that these problems occur only below a certain FPS (around 40) and then gradually worsen the less FPS there are (he is running Windows XP and 3 GB of RAM!!)
Testing on my system, I could reproduce the problem by altering my frame rate limiter. Indeed pitch damping decreased with FPS, and the gear dampers became a perpetual motion machine below 30 FPS....
(The aircraft is a tiny twin-jet trainer with a MGTOW of 2770 lb. TINY!!)
Any similar experience?
