• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi friends,
I'm looking for fellow FSDS modellers who would like to share there FSDS aircraft model designs.
What I am looking to do is not add to the already numerous copies of flight aircraft in FS but rather too streamline your designs for use as ground scenery. Scenery that is seen at nearly all airports in maintanence hangers and grave yards. Scenery that depict aircraft gone past there use by date and in the process of being stripped for parts.
I'm not that great at making airframes my self and it only seems logical to ask other skilled developers if they would like to help me out and save many hours-weeks-months on reproducing whats already out there in our FS skies.
Obviously I am looking for low poly AI class aircraft models or models that can easily be toned down to make light weight on frames.
Paint kits are also handy, but not vital.
Commercial models are favoured but private aircraft are also an important part of the real world landscape.
If you have a model that you would like to share with me and eventally the FS world, please respond below and I'll make contact.
Or you can upload your model to this website if you choose.

Is this for use in FREEWARE or commercial scenery releases?

This is a very important issue as to the availability of the source files. If for a commercial project/release, then you do have to go ahead and arrange with each developer for the use of their models.

If for freeware, then there are already many FSDS source files available, (and for scenery use) and a lot of older low poly AFX source files that can easily be converted (and don't look too bad from a distance!)

Yes, the project is for FREEWARE development.

All reproduced models for scenery will be uploaded to this site for use by the FS community for FREE.
I would really like to see this type of scenery spread throughout the FS community to add just that little more realisim to our airports across the world.
