FSDS and NVidia drivers

I downloaded the latest NVidia driver for my graphics card last week and when I went to use FSDS I found that in the add textures section to a model, if you clicked Browse to find a new texture for your model, that the screen reverted to desktop.
I am using Windows Vista Home Edition and a Nvidia 7000 series graphics card also 1Gb of RAM.
I am making some night lighting for MCChord AFB and was looking for a new lighting texture in FSX Texture files.
I uninstalled the new graphic card driver and re-installed an older version and all was OK. Any one else had this problem?
The graphics card driver is version 175.19 released June 23 2008.

Hi,

Installing the latest driver is not always the best choice if you do not have the latest card. For slightly older cards, sometimes an older driver works best than the latest one. So I guess the best advice is to stay with the one that works, if the newer one has trouble.
