FSDS Missing Textures

Hello,
I have the following problem with textures in FSDS.
I have made a model of a terminal building and in FSDS 3D view all textures are displayed correctly as intended.
However, when the model is displayed in FSX some of the textures are missing. A simple example is that I have a box with exactly the same texture on the front and back faces. This displays correctly in FSDS.
In FSX however, only the back face texture is shown. The front texture is missing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Terry

The initial questions are - are you sure that the missing textures are in the correct FS-X texture folder. and they are NOT 24-bit textures?

Hi Terry

The second question and a cause of much grief is did you check the box in FSDS for the use of night texture, and then forget to make and install the night textures into the correct texture folder?

Hi,
The answer to both above questions is:
Yes, the texture bitmaps are in their correct folder and are 8 bit textures.
No, I did not forget the night textures and they are also in the correct folder.
What I cannot understand is why, on a simple box, the exact same texture shows up on only one end, even though it is displayed correctly in FSDS.
Thanks for your help.
Terry

With some invaluable help from Farfy, this problem has now been solved.
Some of the textures selected were missing the "N" appendix to the file name and thus missing the night textures.
Others were wrongly sized. All the textures were thoroughly checked for correct designations and the files recompiled using different names than the originals. Everything is now working as intended.
