• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX FSX custom cameras limit?

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum...I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit to the number of custom cameras that FSX can handle.
I make my own and have 113 custom cameras that show fine. I made another 25 this morning but only half of these new ones are showing in FSX.
I immediately checked that each one is numbered in order and each had a unique guid and title and they checked out fine. Could there be a limit?
I've not found any answer by searching the Web.

Edit: The custom cameras are there, I've just discovered, but I can't see them in the drop down list as they are hidden by the bottom of the screen.
You can't apparently scroll further down but can use the keyboard arrows...but then you don't know which camera is selected . Oh well, if anyone has any ideas....

You do realize... absolutely anyone who reads this thread is going to wonder exactly what I'm about to ask....

Why on earth do you have so many cameras defined?

Good question...I've been working on a video of 1960s aircraft that all fly in and out of one airport...Beirut. The cameras are located on both sides of the four runways every 200 metres or so, taxiways and apron. It soon adds up but it allows me to switch to good camera locations very quickly.
