Has anyone ever thought about or is interested in scraping data from airport websites in real-time, and analyze the hidden gate allocation rules? For example, you found out that every monday, wednesday, friday and sunday, if a specific flight arrives on time, it will dock at gate 1. I know the Maths theories behind gate allocation is complex, but I am still interested to know if someone here wants to do a research about an airport's gate allocation.

Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.
By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

YOU can find this sort of information on the website of the airport most of the time. Otherwise you could contact the airport and see if they can tell you over the phone. Though I think most important is getting the right airlines to park in the right areas.
Though I think it's as simple as allocating an airline to it's proper area and assigning it to a gate that fits. For example, you wouldn't see a 737 parked up at a gate for the A380

Of course we can find these information at the airport's website. It is just that we should write a program to scrap the real time flight information data.

This is what we are attempting to recreate. From what I have done so far, at least I discovered there are two gates in my airport that is reserved for an airline. Everytime that airline's flight arrive, they both dock at those gates, unless special cases happened.
