FS2004 "Ground poly object must be edited before compile"

Hello,

I am building a runway based on ground polygons above the AFCAD, however, some ground lines won't be compiled. ADE tells me "Ground poly object bound by X must be edited before it can be compiled in its current form/state".

So these lines also do not show up in FS after compiling :(

I cannot seem to find the precise problem.

What causes this error?

Best regards

As noted in the manual, whenever you make a change to a ground poly (other than simply moving the entire line or poly), it must be sent to the ADE_GP editor. If you don't do this when you make the change, you are reminded to do so before you can compile. Generally, all that's needed is for you to open the ADE editor for each noted GP object (double-click on the object in ADE) and click OK (to update ADE's records) in the GP editor.

As you've discovered, until you do so, the noted objects will not be rendered by FS>

What a simple solution. Thank you!

What a simple solution
It's even easier than that. The compile offers to open the editor for you. Just answer "Yes" and click on the editor's OK button. "Nine time out of ten", that's all that's necessary.
