• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

While doing some digging for a recipe to make something unique for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas dinner at a large gathering, I unearthed one of my late mother's prize recipes, so thought I'd share it here. It's truly yummy!

HUNTERS' STEW
  1. 1 elephant, medium size
  2. 50 lbs salt
  3. 50 lbs pepper
  4. 130 lbs peeled potatoes, cut in small pieces
  5. 120 lbs carrots, sliced thin
  6. 350 gallons brown gravy to cover
  7. 2 rabbits (optional)
Cut elephant into bite-sized pieces. Add the potatoes and carrots. Add the brown gravy and cook at 465º for about 4 weeks. Salt and pepper to taste. This will serve around 3,800 people. If more are expected, the rabbits may be added...

...but only do this if necessary, for most people do not like to find hare in their stew.

Would love to try this, but the supermarkets don’t stock elephant. Whenever the local butcher gets any in it always sells out in less than half an hour. Be sure to use free range elephant; the cage-reared ones don’t have enough flavour.

I've always got one or two elephants in my fridge, but they do tend to walk around in the pudding more often than not.

lololol... Now I know why you are a programmer... It all makes sense now.

hare in their stew.. Elephants... yep..

Sorry, no elephants anymore at my place..
I had to buy this special powder to get rid of them because they ate my strawberries in my backyard in NL.
Now don't you go that there are no elephants in the Netherlands! It only proves that this special powder works fabulously.
Now I would need a good recipe against mice.

Let's define "medium size elephant", because that might change some of the other ingredients. Sure, mom may have been able to fudge the amounts, as needed. But we need precision, here.
