• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I'm making a Chalk's Ocean Airways Grumman G 73T Mallard package for FSX and FS2004 and FS2002. Included in the package is Paradise Island Seaplane Base and North Bimini Seaplane Base scenery. Also included is Atlantis Resort scenery and boat traffic in the Bahamas and full working panel and VC. To all you Mallard fans out and plane designers for flight simulators this is a perfect chance to help me. if want to help please email me at Andypoppens@gmail.com

Is this a payware project or a freeware project? If you can provide me with an operating manual for the G73T in pdf format, I might be able to do the systems logic. What parts are you doing?

Lastly, why FS2002? It's become obsolete to the point at which I don't see a benefit in marketing the product to that demographic.

Freeware and it's time all flight simmers had a Grumman Mallard that's why it's for fsx fs2004 and fs2002 I'm not doing any parts I'm counting on others to help me
Here's the operating manual

Well unfortunately, if you're talking about a freeware you'll have quite a bit of trouble getting others to do the project for you, especially if you aren't actually involved. I do systems in the FS9 XML Schema, which only works in FS9 and FSX. There is also the much lower poly limit of FS2002, and the diminishing userbase of the 14 year old sim.

At the same time, that is a service/maintenance manual, not a Flight Operation Manual. The website had a Flight Manual, but only for the piston Mallard. The G73T will have different systems due to the change in powerplant.

Look, there's a difference between "counting on others to help you" and "counting on others to do it for you." If you want a G73T so bad, look at the website you're on. This is a place where you can learn to develop aircraft yourself. Either do that or give others a reason to do it for you.

I don't know how to design aircraft and I'm hoping to become the next Bill Lyons

I expect the Mallard heretic is referring to will be released shortly because they were waiting on me to finish the main gear for the FSX version. It's done and the rest of the aircraft is completed. The FS9 version is also complete. Freeware BTW.
It would be nice to see a turbo version.
