I am trying to redesign part of an archipelago. My first step was to create a rectangular area that enclosed 6 islands. I made this polygon as "Exclude All Terrain"
Then I copied the same polygon (same coordinates) and placed it second as "Hydro Ocean Perennial".
Then I made polygon holes for each island.
I am seeing some progress (finally) but at the moment I am worried about this HUGE landmass that appeared OUTSIDE the bounds of the biggest Exclude All polygon. How is that? I have not created any object outside my exclude polygon.
Attached is an image with a top down view showing my islands (some of which are not quite showing yet), the bounding "exclude" polygon and the horrible landmass that appeared out of the nothing.
1. How do I get rid of that landmass? And...
2. how do I edit a polygon to adjust the points? can't seem to find any such option in FSX_KML or GE
3. Why are islands 2 and 7 showing water inside even though that polygon (last in the polygon list) was marked as Tropical Forest?
