Hi,

Im traying to design some high altitude textures for IFR, something like FSAltitude.com. But I dont know how to make those new textures activate when flying al FL20000 (or less if it is possible).

Can somebody explain me please how to do that, o perhaps can recommend me a thread to look for.

Thx

Hi,

Are you thinking of using sort of photorealistic textures, but then only at higher altitudes? If so and you have access to the photos already, I guess you could try to compile them with the resample tool from the SDK and specify that they should only be used for the lower LODs (so further away).

Not sure though if that is really what you are after...

Yes... that is what i´m thinking...

I will take the photorealistic textures from some photo server.. of course the photos have to be at high altitudes... then when at lower altitudes fsx will upload the defect extures..
