I am trying to get one of the 'blackbird simulations' DHC2 Beaver simobjects to 'sit' the water correctly.
I have tried with 'snap to ground' selected but that results in the floats of the aircraft underwater.
I have 'snap to ground' unticked and tried changing the 'altitude' (in the Gizmo) to such an extent that the floats should be underwater yet in the 'game' they are too far above water level.
I have placed copies of this simobject at other parts of the area and it doesn't matter what I set the 'altitude' to (eg +1.4 or -0.3) the simobject 'floats' just above water level.
Is there a method?
And here's the 'drift'
In edit mode with pause simulation ON the simobject can be positioned well above the water but with pause OFF the simobject is lower but still just above water level. Stupid!
