• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Im Going to go buy a FSX Deluxe SDK equipped Package, bring it home, and drive back and fourth over it with my car until I run out of gas!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so tired of stupid malfunctions in animations, Animation Manager assignments erasing themselves, parts not animating like they should... I am tired of spending 4 days trying to make a elevator trim wheel rotate right, tired of 'trying' to make a cargo door animate with Tailhook, when 2 other doors with the same assignment work fine...

MY EYEBROWS CANT TAKE ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I picked a very bad day to quit sniffing glue..........

lolol...

Bambi's dancing boys 'Fantasy of Flight' aviation seminar.

Right before running out of fuel, I drove to the gas station and fueled back up, came home, and switched tires sides so that I was using the other side of the car to run over the discs... (So they wouldnt wear out one side of my tires.. )

Kevin - since we live nearby .... this just BEGS for us to get together for a photo op... Fantasy of Flight this Saturday?

I would sincerely love to, unfortunately, we're taking the squirts over to Kennedy Space Center for a rocket launch and a tour. We're also going to hit Valiant Air Command Museum and get some beach time in. We're leaving on Friday and will be back Sunday afternoon. How about the weekend after?

For Bambi:

Job as Stewart too. :p

hey, hey now lets keep it clean...lol :rotfl:
:censored:

we are supposed to be discussing the problems with the SDK (NOT!!)

I tried to run over my disc about a year ago.

The car registered a crash beofore I got within 12 yards, I decided to get a bigger vehicle and do the job right, I switched off the car but could still hear the engine - very strange.

I came back with a lorry and crashes turned off and accelerated over the disc, unfortunutely it wasn't an acceleration disc but an SP2 so that didn't work either and the truck stalled because the fuel systems are different although they are supposed to be the same.

Now the engine won't start unless I turn the wind off (??) and when I get it to run it it idles across 60% of it's rev range and the clutch doesn't disengage, must have come off a helicopter...........

LOLOLOL.....

oh yeah.. Ive been there.. done that..

:D

Strange, I haven't done anything to the garage doors for ages but they no longer open and I can't get the car back in

Wait a minute, I made an identical clone of the very same doors and now they work again - magic
trouble is when I switched the garage light off all the house lights went off too, I wonder how much light a burning disc would give off?

(answer=not as much as one of those 150 ft trees outside)

LOLOL.....

You see, you should have wired up your house with an L:var or perhaps used a different effect, but then I fear that the bathroom lights would be rigged to the strobes, and the living room would be the logo light instead of the VC light.

By the way.. I fixed my cargo doors... To save people (me) from yelling at me, I turned off the FSX animations. Best not having them going around backwards, blinking into position, and working off of 2 types of animations calls.

I would honestly like to know why its erasing animation assignments and or keeping old ones and sending parts on their way in opposite directions...

Only on my installation of Gmax do things like this happen..

arrghh

Cloning the offending object works for me, clonng doesn't carry over whatever the hidden problem is.

I have had Gmax animation errorsthat just arrived on their own and others created when trying to delete and replace an animation. It might be a known problem with a known cure, I am not sure.

I don't know what the technical explanation might be, I just treat it like a helicopter - it will continue to work as long as you don't stop beleiving it can fly.
