• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Unofrtunately this version produces same effect
This version (3.4.3.13) has been in use since last August. If this were a general issue (as opposed to something peculiar to your system) someone would have reported before now.

if you want i can make a video
What I'd like you to do is send me (post or otherwise) one or two of the ".zip flightplans" that are giving you problems. Please also send me your aifp.ini file.

It's asking if you want to update because the version of AIFP you asked for is not the latest release. Turn off update checking is this bothers you

And, back to "Square 1". Stay with "C". I am unable to help you troubleshoot any other version

Where are the requested "zip flightplans"? I suspect these are key to your issue.

From the .ini file, I note that AIFP "thinks" both Pv4 and PV5 are installed the the same location. You also seem to have an AIFP folder "buried" inside your P3D folder. I suggest you delete the aifp.ini file and let AIFP regenerate it. Then see if you have the same difficu7lty

as you can see (with the C version) i cannot push ANYTHING
I have no idea what you mean. If you are referring to your inability to load any flightplans, I'm interested in the same ones that initially gave you difficulty

On the video I click the mouse, maybe you can't hear it. NO BUTTONS are clickable. I am not just hovering my mouse, I'm trying to push the buttons!
I cant open any flightplans because I cannot push any button, all of them are frozen

Definitely not!
???? This is in reference to what?

Also you pointed me to a forum/download site. This is not helpful. I asked for, and need, one of the flightplan .zip files that you are/were unable to load.

On a different track, now, in the video, the name of the folder Base Data is enclosed in square brackets, i.e. "[Base Data]", both in the zip prior to expanding and in the expanded AIFP folder. Why? Those brackets are not in the download archive So, it would seem those brackets have been applied by your .zip-handling software. That being the case, it would appear AIFP is in a loop attempting to generate the airport list. Delete the ini file as I suggested earlier and remove those square brackets and try AIFP again.

Jesusssss.....
The square brackets is the specifics of this file manager.
I am truly sorry, but I am sick and tired. It seems that this is a conversation "of a blind with a deaf".
I will delete the software and never use it again

It's your file manager. If never seen one that changed file names.

I guess you've never engaged in trying to diagnose a problem on someone else's machine

Your choice. But, I would remind you that many others are enjoying the use of AIFP without difficulty. This is usually a reliable symptom that the underlying issue lies somwhere in your machine configuration.
