Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with the Blender2P3D exporter when exporting skinned mesh.
I followed the tutorial on exporting skinned mesh using the Blender2FSX toolkit and assumed it would be the same as in the Blender2P3d toolkit.
Can someone tell me what the issue is? The attached blender file is the part that is bugging me...

HI F747fly!

The major problem that I can see is that you have 3 "Armature" modifiers applied to this object. Two of them do not tell the modifier it's parent. (See image below.)

That is my observation at just looking at your Blender file.

Also remember that you have to check the "Skinned Mesh" box in the exporter window. (See Image Below)

Thanks, Kris

That is pretty odd. The way I usually assign armatures is by doing empty weight parenting. It exports now but just when I thought I could sigh of relief the anim seems to be different in MCX than it is in Blender...o_O
EDIT: to be more precice, the export of the zip attached to the previous post does export the way it should but the one on my aircraft does not... Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I parent the armature to an object?
