to be as brief as possible, i’m using AIFP to create flight plans for an airline i am very familiar with, AirTran Airways. they were bought out by SWA about 10 years ago which is why i resort to AIFP to allow me to integrate them into MSFS. anyway, i’ve gotten slightly familiar with using AIFP and i have had success installing the flight plan. I started by downloading an old .BGL file that supposedly works for MSFS. it has everything except the aircraft models which i believe are only for FSX, which will not be recognized by MSFS. so i need a replacement for the 717/737 that airtran operated with the correct livery. i saw on an older youtube video regarding AIFP and MSFS that you can use IVAO MTL models for your ai planning purposes. so i installed them, and when i went to replace the unrecognized/incompatible aircraft through the AIFP menu, they would not appear in the aircraft selection. AIG/Just Flight/FSLTL models all appear as well as user aircraft, but not the IVAO models. i decided to see if using the captain sim 717 would work as a replacement and to my surprise, it did. they appear in the sim but the 737 does not. i tried to use the PMDG model but it seems to not work in regards to attaching it to an AI flight plan. if anyone has any idea how to either convert fsx models like old FAIB models to MSFS or how to use IVAO MTL models (which does have an airtran 737) for AIFP, please assist me in any way you can
