    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.

Jet Engine start

Hello Everyone,

First post, but I have to say the forum has been of great use to me already.

I want to have full control of the engine start sequence for jet engines.
I'm however stuck with simconnect interface. I just can't figure out which key events to use and in which order??
I tried MAGNETOx_SET, MAGNETOx_START, TOGGLE_STARTERx. I have of course used TOGGLE_MASTER_IGNITION_SWITCH to toggle it ON, and also MIXTUREx_SET set at 16383.

I have managed using TOGGLE_STARTERx to start engine 2, using GENERAL ENG STARTER:x to know when to toggle ON/OFF the starter. But engine 1 seems to be un-startable (with the exact same sequence as N°2....).

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Jean Luc

Ok disregard, I managed to make it work.
My problem was the fuel tank selector, apparently the FUEL_SELECTOR_SET event did not want to work properly, and I switched FUEL_SELECTOR_ALL which solved my case... 4 hours wasted but it works...

Thank you anyway ...
Jean Luc
