Hello all,
I've watched Adrian's video tutorial, and reviewed the applicable portions of the SDK but I have a few questions...
I saw another thread that said the "clamp to ground" funtion is broken...is this true? I've seen some sceneries where addon jetways work fine, and others where it does not. Any back story here?
Second, one thing I haven't seen yet is a proper implementation of the jetway stairs. Is it possible to have two "clamp to ground" handles in a single model? One for the drive wheels, and the other for the base of the stairs?
If not, is there a way to connect the bones/geometry of the stairs and the wheels so the base of the stairs slave to the "altitude" of the wheels without an explicit handle?
Finally, my jetway is very high detail, and I'll need it to have LOD's for performance considerations. How does one work with skinned animations and LOD's? Keep in mind, I barely have a grasp on making "normal" LOD's work.
Thanks!
Nick
