• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi all,

Charly, 45 years old, living in east of Belgium close to Liège, i'm married and i have one 17 years young son.
I started to fly on FS first version long long time ago :)
I was building my first home cockpit 14 years ago when i suddendly stopped to fly real planes and passed my PPL.

Now, starting from scratch, i'd like to build a new home cockpit and take the opportunity to do it with my son, so he can learn from this project !
I've just acquired some Arduinos and a 3D printer, it's time to play with all these stuffs ! I have some programming skills but i need to learn the electronic part.

Currently testing FSX, P3D v5 and MSFS. comparing pros and cons knowing that the goal is to build something as close as possible to a real plane.
MSFS graphics are awesome but i'm a bit concerned about the interface for home cockpit. So, to wait or go for something else?...
In real life i fly C150 and C172, I don't know which plane i will go for, most probably GA a bit faster than C172, SEP or SET...

I will try to participate to the life of this forum as much as i can !
