Hello folks,

I recently uploaded an enhanced version of KSTL (for FSX) to AVSIM, filename
fsx_kstl_v1.zip. Anyway, about 500 people have downloaded it since Saturday...but today, I got an email from *one* of them, saying that my jetways were in the middle of the aprons, etc.

Can any of you verify that my scenery is working well with FSX Deluxe?

I want to verify that this NOT a problem with my scenery.

I figured I would have heard more cries if there was something wrong with it. I would like to think I am pretty meticulous when it comes to testing...I'd hate to have dropped the ball here.

bump?

I will assume all is well if I do not hear anything, and blithely move on to bigger and better things.

Nothing wrong with the Jetways.

If the user is seeing the Jetways misplaced on the apron and not attached to the Terminal there is a conflicting KSTL scenery on that computer.

Jetways have their own LAT/LON which you set to the FSX terminal. A 3rd party terminal may not be in the same place that FSX has it positioned.

There could be a slight chance he is refering to your 3 combo Jetway setup but I checked that also and they are assigned to the parking spots correctly.

That is exactly what I told the user.

I wanted to make 100% sure though. Thanks for the info.

That combo jetway SHOULD work ok.

The combo jetway was a compromise. It looks very similar to that in real life, but I debated as to whether or not I should do that overrun.

Any other way to do it, would take more gmax skills than I have at the present time.

Essentially the jetway nearest the terminal is a static scenery object. The other two move, and service adjacent parking spots. This is how it is up there. They use that area for the Regional Jets. It's possible that this has been changed as it's been about 10 months since I was at St. Louis.
