• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Now to the specifics of my project: I have 3 wishes:
I have no idea of the complexity of what I am wishing for, but here goes .....
I want runway lights ; I want ATC tower anywhere near the existing runway and finaly I want a functional ILS at one end of the runway where I can use my NAV radios etc...
The reason for my project is as follows: I think of myself as a "Bush Pilot", I only fly either single or twin engine aircrafts ( wheeled or floats or both) and I stay clear of busy airports thus love flying on Alaska, Yukon, Northern BC, NWT.,Labrador etc... remote areas and my kicker is that whenever I set out for a flight I love leaving from my personal runway and return to my runway upon terminating my flight.etc....Why these specifics ???? when I was younger, in real life I was a registered student at a pilot course at Rockcliff airport in Ottawa;love flying "Hands On", minimising the autopilot settings; learning to fly: IFR, NDB and ILS approaches.
I also have FSX but my comp.is not fast or powerful enough and besides there are so many "Add-ons" available for FS9.
I hope that ther will be a brave soul out there to respond.....

Hello Gerry,

Your three wishes are rather simple ones if you already have your landing strip.
All you need to do it yourself would be a program like ADE to open the CNP4.bgl and add runwaylights, tower frequencies and ILS to your airport.
Somebody or I can do it for you if you so wish, provided the previiously made airport bgl is made available. On the other hand, if you do it yourself, you will learn to enjoy making and improving it and maybe get addicted to it as well:).
