Hi,

I have installed MCX v1.3.0.0 (the latest version I think) and have trouble trying to export sketch up models that used to work fine with my previous version of MCX, that got lost in a recent reload after “ blue Screen OD “ issues,

My system is:

Windows XP Sp3

Direct X 9c

Sketchup 2014

Can anyone suggest the best version for this machine and where I can get it?

One thing I have noticed that may or not be relevant the “material editor” to covert textures to the correct settings for FSX seems to be different in this version.

Any help welcome;

Regards

Hello,...

The latest development release of MCX is 1.4

contained here: http://www.scenerydesign.org/development-releases/

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have installed the latest version as you suggested.

The problem I now have is that when trying to import a dae file made by sketchup

The error log reports “cannot load fie too small”

The file size is 8.59 MB.

In your experience is this file indeed too small and are there settings to alter file size parameters

Regards

Hello,...

what's the file ".dae" file that are you trying to import into MCX? I don't have any reference to the file your referring to.
