• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v4 LERS Reus Airport - Released

Hi,

After releasing Castellón Airport and soon a far far away small Norwegian airport called Berlevåg, have we started our second Spanish P3D v4 scenery project.

Reus Airport - LERS, located just south of Barcelona.

Any comments are welcome, and we expect to release medio 2019 :)

Castellon Airport has become very good, fun to fly from there to Alicante and back. Thanks a lot for this!

Hi,

I already started on this one some time ago but found it impossible to get a good mesh.
When I finally found a good 'mesh', I could not convert it to a Geotiff.
Then somebody told me the airport had already been made (by you folks) and I downloaded it.
The airport buildings are nice and like real life but...
- No groundpoly's ;
- no accurate mesh of course;
- and (but not sure and please correct me if I am wrong) not the right navaids.
If you know how to convert the very detailed and freely downloadable geodata from the Comunidad Valenciana (Comunitat Valenciana) website to something workable, you (and I) may wind up with a very nice (though most of the time rather empty) new airport.

Thanks for the feedback.
It would be great with a good mesh, but unfortunately I do not know how to convert the files :/
The navaids at Castellón should be up to date with the latest patch :)
 
Berlevåg look amazing. You should do more airports in Norway, especially northern Norway is breathtaking around Lofoten (Evenes airport comes to mind.) :)

Hi AleSte, this scenery looks great, do you think it will be released for FSX? would really love a decent looking Reus scenery for flight sim.

Thanks for your feedback.
Currently are we only developing for P3Dv4+.
 
I particularly like your empty car parking lots in the LERS picture you sent. That is unfortunately true most of the time as there aren't many aircraft landing there anymore.
As for your LECH scenery, that is even worse when it comes to traffic!
You sure do me a favor by uploading these almost defunct airports because I am one of the few that still occasionally have (if no other choice available) to land there or fly from there (connections to nearby towns are horrible and taxi's are very expensive).
Have you updated your LECH scenery yet? You do need a new mesh there because otherwise it is a crime to reality!

Sorry for my late answer! I used this airport several time and it feels great! Nice scenery :) I will have a look at Reus on Sunday in real :) Do you need pictures from the outside of the airport?
