• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi Developers

I've been looking for someone with advance knowledge on XML coding for panels, Im recently working on a huge project that I'm developing for a series of Aircraft, What im trying to produce here are some panel that looks as real as possible while it can be easy to use, detailed but the simple NAV/GPS navigation so any simmer can play while giving them a glimpse on how the plane looks like.

what im looking for is for someone to work with me on developing the EICAS for the panels, since Ive been using a mix of paywares and some freeware (that authors I havent been able to contact), so I can't release them to public. I would like to have my own EICAS for the panels so I can release the panels, Im not good with XML codes, I can do simple stuff but this seems a bit hard for me, I also have the reference need it for the EICAS

About the Projects:
The panel im working are a series of variants for the 737NG series and the Airbus A32x/33x/34x series.
I've been working on the visuals of the EICAS with real image of the real ECAMS/EICAS. this panel have diferent variants for example the 737ng series will have Honeywell MCU (as on Delta 737s and others) and the Rockwell Collins MCU (most use today on the 737ng) aswell as diferent PFD, and for the A32x familiy there are diferent style of engine page on the ECAMS depending on the A320 engine, aswell as the bigger Screen which have a diferent display more like an A330 display.

If you've found XML hard up to this point, read and follow the tutorials here. You'll start to realize how simple it really is to do the basics, then before you know it you'll have your EICAS.
 
I have already developed EICAS for many Boeing models including the Boeing 737-800. They are published on Flightsom.com and Simviation.com. All of them closely match the real EICAS.
