3DSMax has a 'render to texture' function that will take an existing texture map, and 'bake' the light and shadow onto it from the scene you place it in.
That's the same thing I do with Cinema 4D ;-)

I just may have to upgrade to 3Ds Max and get an oven!![]()

Yikes!At $3495.00 I can buy two ovens, a washer, a dryer, a refrigerator....

There might be an alternative in the form of TrueSpace by Caligari.
I've just looked through the manual and bake to texture is there.
As posted else where on the forums, TrueSpace is now free.

Best of all I got it freeeeee...
The advantages of relatives doing 3D design courses..

Look at the Aerosoft Site. It's payware.

mmm I don't think so, if you look at fs2004 aerosoft screens, you can see that are very different from this one, and looking at the site http://lpma.6.forumer.com/ in the forum is stated that this scenery will be release on avsim when finished.
So just be patient when this scenery will be finished we will know![]()

You'll see how much of a bargain GMax is when you price 3ds Max. At $3495.00 it's out of reach for the average FS developer. Even Maya is $1995.00.
3ds Max has a 30-day trial.
That is ridiculous. What is different between that and GMAX?
3DSMax really costs almost $3500?!?!?!That is ridiculous. What is different between that and GMAX?
