Ok i have read the SDK on what makes an FX tick and i can identify and exsplain what each part does in the FX file when opened with notepad.
SO to further help my self understand it i dissected an exsisting FX i had and found it had >several ? in a single file?
so i ripped it appart and put each individual FX into its own file.
THEN came the acid test....
i tried to see how these FX looked like in FS [fs9]
and Nothing! Squat!
i made sure i used the correct calling ID in the aicraft file and made sure the names were correct but i am boggled as to why they fail.
ATTACHED is the original FX file i tore appart.
as you can see if you look in it i belive there are 6 FX in this single file?
and i seperated them into individual FX files and named them according to the FX in the mother file.
were did i go wrong.
ALSO ATTACHED is one of the offspring FX files i made.
