• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Manipulating a riverbank

Hello Community :)

This is my first post and so I want to introduce myself before posting my problem :

My name is Juergen, I´m living in Vienna/Austria and with a friend of mine (Mattes from Cologne/Germany) I run a small flightsimmer-simmerboard ("Friendly Flusi", http://flusi.movie2digital.de )

Some weeks ago we started to create a "Friendly Flusi Base" for FS9, an airport nearby a lake. Bambi_007 (yeah, she´s also part of "my" community :) ) choosed Vogtareuth in Bavaria and began to build a very nice and also challanging airport, thanks again to Sandra !
Now it´s up to me to set some buildings and infrastructure on our base (EZ-Scenery). But before I can do this I need your help :

For users with default landclass (in FS9 and also FSX) it looks like this :

homebase1nr3.jpg

But for users with Ultimate Terrain Europa and also German Landmarks/Riverset it looks like that :

As you can see....the riverbank -according to accurate landclass data- causes some "wet" runways and taxiways  :p

I searched the web and some forums and tried o find knowhow, but ...hu, what a bloody beginner I am  Running a simmerboard is nothing against manipulating some landclass files :) My last attempt was a non functional .bgl which I created via EZ-Landclass.

However, could anybody please link an absolutely bloddy-newbie-noob-compatible tutorial how to manipulate this files ? And which program I ought to use ? I even don´t know which program would be best to do so.
Maybe it´s snip with two fingers for a professional, but for me it seems to be a months workload :(

Please help to fix this problem

Many thanks in advance

Juergen
