• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I am trying to create a program somewhere simlar to little nav map so far my sucess has been quite good. I am developing the application in winforms c# .net 4.7

1. I am using open street maps.org provider with GMAP.net
2. I have my plane positioned in the direction of the true heading.

Questions I have now is

1. How would one draw runway numbers and data on top of the gmap.net judero01col/GMap.NET: GMap.NET )
I beleive what I need to do is extract the information from the blg file and then paint that onto the gmap controll
2. How does one set the heading for the autopilot

I have the following but I dont understand what is GROUP.ID_PRIORITY_STANDARD when i try to resolve it it wont this should work for the altitude but how do i setup the heading.

C#:
 private void btnSetAutoPilotAlt_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
            // changed to add an event for the altitude

            // changed to set the autopilot hold altitude to 5000 feet
            my_simconnect.MapClientEventToSimEvent(EVENTS.KEY_REF_ALT_FEET, "AP_ALT_VAR_SET_ENGLISH");
            my_simconnect.TransmitClientEvent(SimConnect.SIMCONNECT_OBJECT_ID_USER, EVENTS.KEY_REF_ALT_FEET, txtAutoPilotAlt.Text, GROUP.ID_PRIORITY_STANDARD, SIMCONNECT_EVENT_FLAG.GROUPID_IS_PRIORITY);
        }
}
