Hello all,

I'm building some obejects for a scenery with FSDS 3.5.1 for FSX but when I use the Library Object XML 2.0 to join all objects in a unique BGL it says that the MDL are for FS2004.

How can I do it for FSX?

Thanks for your help

Jorge

Hi,

Not sure how that works in FSDS exactly, but you need to make sure that they are exported using XtoMDL, it sounds like you are now using the FS2004 MakeMDL for it.

Arno - is Library Object XML 2.0 for FS-X only?

It appearsa that Jorge has set up FSDS 3.5.1 to compile through makemdl.exe (compile to FS-X using makemdl.exe), in which case he'd have to use a library maker for the FS2004 model setup.

Jorge - can you tell us how you have set up your FSDS? You DO have FS-X Deluxe and have installed the SDKs and updates?

Arno - is Library Object XML 2.0 for FS-X only?

No, it works with both FS2004 and FSX. And it will indicate which version the MDL has been made for.
