Not quite true. Using skin and bones, you can change shapes easily. That's how the wing bending is done in FSX - there are no external mechanical linkages, they are all internal, represented by bones. The wing definitely changes shape. You can also have a lot more pronounced effect, literally changing shapes from sphere to box to cylinder.no change shape allowed in FSX, not sure in latest P3D, thought it still same as FSX.

Yes, you can absolutely make those objects using skin/bone setup. In fact, I need something similar, but since I consider it "eye candy", it is on a backburner. Examples in SDK are wing flex on DC-3 and a flag waving on the oil rig platform.good to hear, so maybe I can implement that for drag chute, aerial refueling hose.
