MSFS Blender Lighting issues

Wondering if anyone else is having issues with the lighting? The emission on materials projects as I would expect from a visual aspect looking at the light/object. However it doesn't cast light as I would expect. I have tried adding lights from Blender which look terrific when rendered in Blender. However, when exported into MSFS it falls short. In particular i am referring to area lighting. In my model i have canopy lighting that is 8 ft long, i add the area light and as stated Blender it look great. In MSFS, the reflection on the canopy indicates its a point light. Am i missing a setting in the MSFS portion, that is causing all my lights to be point lights in MSFS?

In Blender

In MSFS w/o symmetry (Notice shadow and light orb as if point light added.)

In MSFS w/Symmetry (Shadow is removed but light orb still remains and looks like point light, not area)
