I have a major problem since some weeks with FS2004 multiplayer SDK. Everyone knows, that the FS2004 multiplayer sdk is a nightmare. From my time as a directX developer for some small games, i'm familiar with this type of API and it was easy for me to implement a basic dplay application. BUT the game specific part of fs2004, specially its multiplayer packet ids is a nightmare.
So I discared the SDK and tried to analye the packet ids by my own, but this is not easy at all. The second try was to ask google for information, but the few forum topics I have found in the whole word wide web were only people asking and complaining about the wrong and horrible SDK.
I did not find any helpfull topics. But there are tools like FSHost, FSInn, Squawkbox etc who already managed it.
If anybody out there knows something more about it and could help me finishing my peace of software, i would be deeeply grateful.
