• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

My home airport, ESGL Lidköping Hovby Airport

W.I.P on the texturing :)
Wish I had a good picture to show you this compared to IRL!

I think I'll maybe work a bit more on the texture, but then I'll have to move on to the next building haha!

Wow :D and its meant to be Free?
That's right, this will be freeware :) I'm aiming for ORBX quality as I've mentioned before haha.

But I think, not to brag or anything, that I've reached payware quality, but maybe not ORBX quality yet :) Will see how it turns out in the end!

Just a W.I.P to show that I'm still working, but not as fast as I'd like to haha :) Well.. I'll just give it time!

In this hangar there are some private owned aircrafts and also a flight service shop :) I'm not goding to ad some windows and such!
We'll see how it turns out in the end! :D

Long time no see, been lazy with the project but now it's up and running! But I will have a huge problem really soon.. cause I can't make custom groundpolygons what so ever.. but well :)

Biggest building on the airport, it was used by Westair Sweden when they were based here. Part of it was used for flight mechanic education during 5 years or something :)

Oskar, good to see you. These buildings look great.

Don't worry about what you can't do -- focus on what you CAN do.

Slow and steady wins the race, partner. You are making great progress.

Thank you! :) My "problem" is that I'm using Blender and there's not really a good guide on how to do as far as I know.

I use blender sometimes, but I use simple little sketchup a lot also. Generally it all feeds though MCX at some point for finishing adjustments.

And there are a few ways to do custom ground polygons. I'm trying to learn one myself, so I'm in a similar situation as you.

Hi! Your models and textures are great! I am new in blender too but there are tons of tutorials in the internet that very helpful. Blender is "all in one" tool, I think:wizard:.
(with MCX and BlenderToFSX of course;))

Thank you! ;) Yes but not that many (or not at all?) about making the ground as far as I know! I know there is a few videos about making taxiways and so on tho :)
