• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Bert, you said before that these FPs worked before you compiled them with AIFP. What compiler did you use? Would you please also send me that traffic file so that I may look for differences.

Don,

AIFP is running smoothly for most operations. So nothing speaks against going life.

It might have a point to have the discussion on the separate thread finished before a release. I am not sure, but maybe the outcome is that some things needs to be treated differently than they are now.

On the other hand we can always get smarter within the process. It does not matter if AIFP might handle some things differently with version 1.1.

So this is completely up to you to decide.

My issues were all fixed by your latest release. I have an icon, which I will send you tomorrow. Don't expect much, it is not really cool. Still better than none I guess.

Martin, I'm going to resist the urge to further change anything that's working in a reasonable fashion. As soon as AIPF "hits the streets", there's going to be requests for improvement, things done differently, etc. I'm going to wait to see what surfaces. As soon as I release, I'm also going to open up a requested enhancements thread, so that all the suggestions will be (mostly) in one place. After a couple of weeks, we should be in a much better position to know what needs "fixing". I look forward to receiving the icon. Thanks

Bert, I had a look at the second flight plan today. What I noticed is that it includes two 23-hour legs. No wonder the AI didn't show up! AIFP should have caught that - and now does. If you shorten the last two legs, the FP should work (or, at least it does on my machine).
