• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

We own Bellefonte Airport, N96, I just got Prepar3d V4 looking for some one to help with making the scenery realistic.

Got any photos to show what’s involved?
Any interesting points of interest in the area?

You came to the right place. We have airport builder addicts. We have addict support groups also. Sunday night meetings at 6PM. Cookies and coffee provided.

Provide us with pictures and the airport details and we would give it a go if you really want to.
And that at no charge provided it will be freeware.
But as this is a Developer's website we would like you to try and do it yourself with the help of us here!

How do I send pictures, I appricaite the help, hoping to learn as we go to make changes as we make real changes to the airport.

Would be glad for it to be freeware, I think it would help to get more people interested in this kind of stuff, if more realistic where you live.

The pictures should be of the buildings you'd want duplicated. Their positions and photoreal background can be gleaned from google maps or maybe NAIP imagery. Also, let us know if you'd want just the airfield or also the nearby row of houses? The more info the better.

Keep in mind, the more detailed scenery you'd like, the longer it would take to produce, and the less likely somebody has the time to spend on it.

How do I upload the pictures you need, I would like your help with the buildings on the airport and I will try to improve on houses when we get it done, I would like to have you add the road at the end of the runway, road that goes by the houses, fix the markings on the runway, size of pad at 25, and pavement to the other hanger, then I take it from there to make improvements, like adding fuel farm etc., once you give me some guidance. thanks

I don't do scenery really, but I was bored last night and played around... N96 in Prepar3D v4.4... still needs a bit off work... adding more trees, adding the rest of the housing row along the road and I haven't put any hangars in place yet.

Hi,

I answered to your private mail but I wonder just one small thing: how old are you???
Chances are you are a youngster (meaning you are at least a lot younger than the majority of us are:eek:).
The fact that you could be is not a disadvantage, far from, as we need new young blood desperately, but would like also to have you (him/her) try to do something yourself and get acquainted with the tools available before asking help from this community. The ones that answered you are the veterans, not always age wise:)(or not:D), but experience wise (or not :D).

Cheers,

First of all, nice work @WarpD (even if you usually don't do sceneries).
Should I feel good that I am younger and providing the "young blood" Roby mentioned? Even if I am a mediocre developer?

Do you guys have a pilots license, even if you don't, and you are ever in the area, I can set you up to fly the real thing
