• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

NO AI traffic in several airports in FSX

Hello,

This has never happened to me before. I installed a freeware ADE scenery for Miami Intl' Airport (KMIA). It turned out I had two scenery files so I deleted the previous one. Now I don't have AI Traffic at MIA and what is even more weird is that I don't have AI Traffic in all the airports of the Miami Area (including KFLL, KOPF, etc).

I deleted all the scenery files for Miami but I still have the same problem, I really don't know how to fix this, any thoughts? Thank you

perhaps in your new freeware scenery is included a FS9 trafficfileBGL,which could kill the FSXtraffic in this area. You could proof this with AIFP freeware.

I deleted all the freeware scenery for MIA. Even with the defaulat airports there is no AI traffic in the Miami Area. I even repaired my FSX but nothing works. I will try to check the BGL files with AIFP. Thanks
 
Check what you have in your scenery\world\scenery !
I do not know what kind of AI you have in there but as long as you have some FS9 AI traffic files in there, you will have problems.
But it could also be an FS9 traffic file that is somewhere else and that would be harder to find.

Why Roby? AIFP find all FS9 bgl-files in your sim! I found a "bad" FS9 BGL-File within a airportscenery not in my scenery\world\scenery !
 
Guess you are right, Christian, but you may want to have AIFP to look for it and if he did not, then that may be the problem.
 
Thank you guys!

I did check AIFP and I found an FS9 traffic file that was there. Everything seems to be working fine! I use WOAI and AIG flightplans I download and put in fsx with AIFP :)
