• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi
trying my first panel. I've copied from the gaugesampleaircraft the panel.cfg, wasmmodule and built my plane. But cannot see the panel ingame. Even the ingame wasmdebugwindow says ready. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

What are you trying to do, the "HelloWorld" gauge swap, or are you building the SDK Gauge Aircraft? If it is the DA62 gauge replacement tutorial, it does not work as described, somewhat typically. I managed to get it to work by combining parts of the procedure for creating a new gauge, with parts of the procedure for editing an existing gauge, so if that's the issue I could look for specifics or maybe upload my result. If it is the Gauge Aircraft project, I think we need more details or an example to debug.

If you are not following a tutorial or SDK procedure, you'd probably want to describe your own procedure in as much detail as possible. It seems pretty straightforward if you have already completed the GaugeAircraft Project. I mean, how hard is it to export your model as GaugeAircraft.gltf, anyway right?

So there is a disconnect somewhere. I for one would type out my entire problem in my first post, as much detail as painfully possible, so that anyone browsing the thread can know at a glance, without having to type out multiple comments to just get started, if they wanted to help or not.
